Martina Martinelli
●Cinematographer | Director | Camera operator - assistant | Filmmaker | Writer ●
● Born in Frosinone, I moved to Rome to study cinema, attending the DASS degree course (Art History and Performing Arts) at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", that provides theoretical and practical training with a critical approach in the field of cinematography/ digital media studies.
● During the academic period, I participated in various seminars and I attended technical and film and audiovisual workshops.
● In 2018 I took part to the 6th edition of the "Roma Web Fest", where I participated in conferences, meetings, workshops and panel discussions;
● In 2019 I attended a photography lab on cinema locations ("laboratorio di fotografia- reportage sui luoghi del cinema");
● In 2020 I did an internship as press agent for a Documentary Showcase at Cinema MAXXI in Rome;
● In 2022 I attended the "Ruta Summer Film School" in Turin on the basis of economic, social and environmental sustainability and sustainable film production (green film production) based on the criteria provided by Green Film and Ecomuvi, where my doc short "Mira-Futuro" was made.
●My main interests are film directing, photography, writing and traveling the world.
